One of the three most powerful warriors working for the Mages, Evil Ryu is the most experienced of the three. He was once a regular warrior known as Ryu, but the Evil Intent was put into him by the Mages. Evil Ryu alone has been in many great fights, but can't reach the power that his partners had. By using the Medallions of the Sonic Underground, he can reach a new level known as Orochi. His power, skill and strength increase when he's like this. Too bad it's only last for a limited time...
