The Not So Frequently Asked Question

AkumaTh's Comics
Q: What is AkumaTh's Comics?
A: AkumaTh's Comics is my first sprite comic. I've been working on this comic longer then any other comic. Longer then any other thing I ever done online.

Q: Why is it called AkumaTh's Comics?
A: Originally, I never gave these comics a title. I thought this was going to be one of those things I give up when I find out people don't like it. But in a twist of fate, people liked it. So I continued.

Q: What's with all the links on the earlier comics?
A: Before I got Geocities, I was hosted by various websites. Most of them were free sites and all of them couldn't keep up with my continuing updates. The rest just follows my moves to the Middle Ground.

Q: Is Akuma the Author you or the Inserted Character you?
A: In the beginning, I thought he could be both. But then I thought that if he was to be considered a strong warrior, being also an author would mean he's playing with God mode, thus being cheap like Hogan was in WCW. So I made sure that Akuma doesn't use those powers whenever in a big time battle. Later on, I'll really define the line.

Q: Is Sonic stupid in your comics?
A: No. He just doesn't get respect. Sonic is smart, not TJ smart but good enough smart.

Q: Can I use Akuma/Kari/Other characters?
A: In some cases, sure. But the following three do not apply to this.

Q: Can I use Shin Akuma or Kari/Chaos Shin Akuma or Kari?
A: No. Some of the fan comics I get have me on the losing end. To ensure that I can give them a reason to win, I do not lend out the higher forms. Because if I did, then someone could make a comic that has my Chaos Shin losing a battle to someone and making me look weak.

Q: Can I use the Undertaker
A: Only if I can trust you. And when I say trust, I mean really BIG trust. So far, only the O.M.A. had a copy of the Undertaker sheet. He beat me. If someone can beat him easy, it'll make me look weak. Same thing happened when Hogan got up to the Powerbomb of Vader in WCW. After he got up like nothing happened, Vader's career went down the drain and everyone who was hit with that move was considered weak.

Q: Can I use Jenny Wily/Thunder Fox/other people you don't own?
A: If they're public domain, yes. But some of these I had to ask permission for. If I had to ask permission to use it, then no. You have to ask the original creator to use it. Jenny Wily, Thunder Fox, Evil/Orochi Ryu, Subrosian, Mysterious Ninja, and any cameos are in this section.

Q: What is Subrosian's and/or Mysterious Ninja's E-mail?
A: Sorry, I can't give you that information. Why? Because I don't have their current ones. But if you want to talk to them, either go to the Sonic Adventure Social Board on GameFAQs(Subrosian) or the USSR Message Board(Mysterious Ninja).

Q: Can I be in it?
A: Only if you can bring something new into it. An example of this is that Knuckles and Rouge/Sonia/Julie Su were entered because they bring a Tenchi Style to my comics. Another one would be Fluke and his love for Kari (in character only, not in real life).

Q: Can I cameo?
A: Only if I have a space for you. But I don't usually do that.

Out of the Spotlite
Q: What is this comic about?
A: It's just a random funny comic about a bunch of game characters I liked.

Q: Why is it monthly?
A: As you can tell in AkumaTh's Comics, make that all my comics, is I usually am centered around fighting. It'll take me a month to figure out a unique joke for it.

Q: Why did you make it?
A: It was originally for an opening that Psyguy had on his site (LONG AGO). He was looking for a comic to host and he doesn't like AkumaTh's Comics style (which is fighting). So I made this to see if he would like it. As you can guess, he didn't. I still liked doing it though, so I continued.

Q: Why put it on the Top Web Comics?
A: It's to get a cheap amount of votes, yes I know, cheap. It's also to remind me that I have an account there.

Q: Why is it spelled "Spotlite"?
A: It's to symbolize their non-success. If they were really popular, they would be in the Spotlight.

Q: Are these apart of AkumaTh's Comics?
A: No, this is outside the world of that comic series.

Q: Can I be in it?
A: No. This is only for Videogame characters with no staring comic series.

Q: Can I cameo?
A: No again. Only videogame characters could.

Darkwing Beyond
Q: Why did you made this comic?
A: At the same time I got my new Roadrunner cable modem, I also got Digital Cable to go with it. While the cable modem messes up, I spend some time catching up on old shows I used to watch when I was young. While watching Darkwing Duck, a thought came to my mind. What if they made a Darkwing Beyond like Batman Beyond. So I thought making the comic was a good idea.

Q: Is it the same as the Darkwing Beyond Fanfic?
A: No. I didn't even know there was one when I made the frist few comics. But you can tell they're not similar with various differences. The major difference is the sex of the two different Darkwing Ducks of the Beyond. The author has a new male to be it while I had his daughter taking over the role. See it for yourself here.

Q: Why did you kill off the original Darkwing Duck?
A: I want it to be a little more serious then the original. And what's more serious then a daughter who lost her father?

Q: Will we see Gizmoduck, or other old characters?
A: If I can find Sonic 3 Base Sprites for them, then sure.

Q: Why is the Liquidator the only surviving member of the "Fearsome Five"?
A: It was a big explosion. Since he was liquid, it makes sense that he would survive.

Q: Why did you make the Liquidator talk like he's selling something?
A: Don't blame me, he talks like that on the show.

Q: Why is he bigger?
A: His sheet is really an increased in sized 8-Bit sheet of the Darkwing Duck Game. Trying to make the Sonic style is hard.

Q: Are these apart of AkumaTh's Comics?
A: No, but it is set in the same world as AkumaTh's Comics. So you may see some of the characters there...

Q: Can I be in it?
A: As mentioned above, only if you can bring something new to it. Since it's still young, here is a few openings here and there.

Q: Can I cameo?
A: Sure. But only as random members of St. Canard. Don't expect to be anything more then a victim.

Final Fantasy 6: Aftermath
Q: What is this comic about?
A: It's my attempt to make a Sprite Novel. Like the graphic novels you see online.

Q: What, you plan to put it in a book?
A: No. If I did, I would have to pay alot of people.

Q: Is it the same as the other Final Fantasy 6: Aftermath?
A: No. We just had the same idea for a title. Differences are exactly when the Aftermath happens.

Q: Two years and Hope can walk and talk? What's up with that?
A: They never specified how long a year is in that game. So I made it so a year there is equal to three years here. Hope, in reality, is 6 and a half years old.

Q: Why don't they have their magic?
A: This is a spoiler to the game, but in the end, they gave up their magic to save the Espers. Terra also gave up her other half and remained human.

Q: Why don't they have their magic?
A: This is a spoiler to the game, but in the end, they gave up their magic to save the Espers. Terra also gave up her other half and remained human.

Q: Wait... If it's a sprited novel, does that mean when you finish the final battle, it's over for good?
A: Yes. Once it's done, it's done. Like FFX-2 or Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children, it's only an extension of the game.

Q: Are these apart of AkumaTh's Comics?
A: No, this is in a whole other world.

Q: Can I be in it?
A: Sorry, but no. Your character may conflict with the story.

Q: Can I cameo?
A: Sure. But only as random people. Don't expect to be in a battle.

The Sprite Royal Rumble
Q: What is this comic about?
A: It's a match where 30 people enter, but only one wins.

Q: What are the rules?
A: The match begins with 2 people starting off. Every new comic, a new person enters. This continues until all 30 are in or was in. Elimination takes place at any time. To be eliminated, you have to be a pixel out of the panel, KOed for three panels, give up, or die.

Q: What is the prize?
A: The prize is anything you can wish from me. It could be making a fan comic for you, giving you new weapons or powers, or even putting you in my comics.

Q: How do you enter this?
A: When, AND ONLY WHEN, I put up the sign up topics, sign up before everyone else fills it up.

Q: How fast does it fill up?
A: Usually a day. The Sonic Foundation Message Board takes a while to fill up though.

Q: Is there any restrictions for entering?
A: You can only enter once. That's it. You can be a recolor, inverted, or the best scratched sprite ever, anyone new and old can sign up.

Q: Are there any other benifits to go along with being a winner?
A: Besides bragging rights, The Past Winners of the Sprite Royal Rumble are automatically given a spot for the next one. But if they give up their right for the next one, then they have to re-sign up for the followings.

Q: Are these apart of AkumaTh's Comics?
A: Not really. But it is in the same world as AkumaTh's Comics

Q: Is this really random?
A: Yes. Everything, including the winner, is random.

Q: How did you came up with the idea?
A: The original idea came from the WWE/WWF. The Royal Rumble was an event that was one of their best ideas ever! The one that stood out was Kane and his most eliminated ever. As a thank you for Gamerguy to host my sprites (my lame attempts at sprites), I created the original. It was my most successful creation. Often imitated, never over-shadowed.

The World Spriter's Tournament
Q: What is this comic about?
A: It's a tournament of the 64 that the people choose to win.

Q: What are the rules?
A: It's starts with an Elimination round. People insert their choices to who they want in. The 64 with the most votes are the 64 in the tournament. From the 64, the people vote to see who wins the match. Continues until one wins.

Q: What makes this tournament different from the others?
A: 1)Not apart of a comic series's plot. It's the center of it all. 2)An elimination round where everyone is entered. 3)The people vote for it, so anyone can win.

Q: What are the rules for entering?
A: To enter, all you have to do is fill out a form when it's time. You can enter as many people as you want, but only the 64 will be in.

Q: Are these apart of AkumaTh's Comics?
A: They used to be. The original tournaments were in the AkumaTh's Comics. Due to too many ideas, I made the WST a different series.

Q: How fast does it fill up?
A: It doesn't. It has a start and an end time. In theory, you can have over 1000 people entered.

The Fallout Shelter Comics
Q: What are these comics about?
A: It's just some comics that the members of the Fallout Shelter does. Almost everyone, even the O.M.A., does one of these there.

Q: Why does it seem like at times I'm watching wrestling?
A: Well, I act more McMahon like here. Since using them in the Fallout Shelter means you can automatically use them in that series alone, it's like I have my own little WWE.

Q: Are these apart of AkumaTh's Comics?
A: It's set in the same world, so it's possible to see one in the other.

Q: Some of these events you're doing there, are they going to be done for real?
A: Maybe. The beauty of the Fallout Shelter Comics is that I can test some other ideas out on them before making them major. Basically, this is what would it have been like if I stuck with the WST series.

Q: Can I be in it?
A: Only if you're a member of the message board.

The Misc Comics
Q: Why are these Misc comics?
A: They're that for many reasons. It could be that it isn't apart of that world. it could be that it's a fan comic I did. It could be something I didn't want to wait a long time to show.

Q: Can my fan comics be misc comics?
A: Only if it's a really good story. It has to be so good, it must impress me. And if it does, I will be the one to ask you.

Q: Can you use one of my ideas?
A: Maybe, it depends on how good it is.

Q: Can I be in one?
A: If I can find room for you in it.

About Akuma the Hedgehog
Q: How did you start doing sprite comics?
A: It started a year before I got into it. I was a newb online and was looking around on it. I tried to do online wrestling, but I failed in it. I tried to do RPs, but I sucked in it. I even tried fanfics, they weren't so good. I got into Sprite Comics thanks to Sakana Yama. It was funny and unique so I wanted to make my own. I requested my first set of sprites from TapamN and after a while, he finished my first 8. Then I began sprite comics and the rest became history.

Q: When did you start making sprite comics?
A: I don't really know. My memory pushes some events back when something bad happens. When I started, it was around 9/11/2001, the date that the Twin Towers fell. I either started a few days before, after or during that day. That's the reason my party is a week long.

Q: How old are you/What's your real name/Any other personal info?
A: I don't reveal much of myself online. The only thing you'll get is that I'm a boy who is from Brooklyn.

Q: Do you fight for real?
A: I don't fight for real. But the fights I was put in by force favors me. I'm undefeated!

Q: Why do you like fighting?
A: Fighting is like an artform. The moves, the techniques, the battle between one another, it's beautiful. Wrestling was the first to introduce me to it. I moved on to fighting movies, shows, and games.

Q: Why Akuma the Hedgehog?
A: It originally was from a hoax I saw from Knux5. It was "what if Super Sonic in Sonic 2 was like Akuma in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo". So I added two and two together and came up with Akuma the Hedgehog.

Q: What gives you the ideas you use for comics?
A: From various places. Mostly TV and the WWE. The idea for big events came from the WWE's PPVs. Their Royal Rumble inspired mine. Their King of the Ring inspired my World Spriter's Tournament. Even the Undertaker was based on their Undertaker and Kane.
